Zach “ESIC” Howard is a Denver-based artist known for his vibrant, illustrative murals that bring color and energy to public spaces. With over two decades of experience, Zach has established himself as a prolific figure in the contemporary art scene. His creative practice extends beyond murals to include concept design for film and video games, comic illustration and writing, 3D modeling, and traditional painting.

Zach’s artistic journey began through both formal education at several art colleges and an informal education in graffiti, which ultimately became his most influential teacher. He later spent a decade in Southern California, where he honed his skills in screen printing, worked as a senior designer for a major apparel company, and helped launch a successful T-shirt printing business. During this time, he began painting large-scale murals across Southern California and Mexico.

Since returning to Denver, Zach has continued to grow his freelance career, completing over 50 murals throughout Colorado, Wyoming, and Texas. He currently works as a Concept Artist at Razor Edge Games while remaining deeply engaged with the local art community. When he’s not creating, Zach enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and contributing to Denver’s thriving creative culture.
